1. Renter must be 25 years of age to rent the Denton Community Center or any Rental Area thereof.
2. NO SMOKING is permitted in the Denton Community Center at any time. Any damage from smoking shall be the responsibility of Renter.
3. If the kitchen area located in the Denton Community Center is included within the Rental Area, a responsible person or persons shall be present in the kitchen area at all times to supervise the use of said kitchen. No food in a heating unit in the kitchen area shall be left unattended.
4. ALCOHOL:
a. If Renter plans to serve alcohol in the Rental Area, Renter is required by state and local regulation to have all alcohol and containers (bottle, glasses, etc.) off the tables and in the trash receptacles by 1:00 a.m. Monday- Saturday, Sundays by 12:00 midnight. If alcohol is to be sold, a caterer must be hired to provide and serve the alcohol, and a permit must be obtained from the Denton Village Clerk at least 30 days prior to the event;
b. If alcohol is served in the Rental Area, the Sheriff of Lancaster County, Nebraska shall be notified by building coordinator.
c. If Owner determined that alcohol had been served in the Rental Area without prior knowledge of Owner, the entire security deposit of Renter shall be forfeited to Owner.
5. No vehicles are permitted on the front sidewalk area adjacent to the Denton Community Center. If owner determines that someone has parked in said area and any cleanup is necessary due to vehicular leakage or mud trucks, the cleanup cost shall be deducted from Renter's security deposit. Additional parking is located to the rear of the Denton Community Center.
6. It is the responsibility of Renter to leave Rental Area as clean as when Renter first occupied said Rental Area. This includes, but is not limited to, putting way all tables and chairs, sweeping, wiping up any spills, and cleaning up the kitchen area. Renter is to return to storage any equipment and/or cleaning supplies used by Renter. Any charges for damage and/or additional cleaning will be deducted from Renter's security deposit.
7. Renter is place all garbage in the receptacles provided outside of the Denton Community Center for collection. Garbage receptacles are also located outside at the rear of the Denton Community Center. Renter is responsible for picking up any of Renter's or Renter's guest litter on the playground, ball field, or parking lot adjacent to the Denton Community Center.
8. Renter is responsible for any damage to the Denton Community Center or its grounds. The Building Coordinator of the Denton Community Center shall conduct an inspection after Renter's event to determine Renter's security deposit refund.
9. Owner is not responsible for theft, lost or left items of Renter or any guest of Renter.
10. Rental area must be vacated by Renter and/or Renter's guests no later 3:00 o'clock a.m. Before leaving the Denton Community Center, Renter shall lock all windows and doors, ascertain that water is not left running, and that the lights have been turned out.
11. An inspection of the Denton Community Center may be made at any time by Building coordinator, any member of the Village Board of Owner, any employee of Owner or any Law Enforcement Officer having jurisdiction in the Village of Denton, Lancaster County, Nebraska.
